Nine Members of the Eaton High School Swimming Program competed in the OHSAA Southwest District Championships this past Friday, February 16 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

In the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay, the team of Maddie Baker, Lauren Ferguson, Sasha Taxter, and Abby Liddy broke their own school record and finished in 15th place with a time of 2:00.90.

Lauren Ferguson also swam in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (17th place, 1:10.89) and the 200 Yard Freestyle (24th place, 2:08.66).

For the Boys, in the 50 Yard Freestyle event Tyler Gregory finished in 9th place overall with a time of 22.56.  Tyler also competed in the 100 Yard Freestyle and finished 11th (50.51), while Aaron Scholl placed 22nd with a time of 52.60.

Josh Pool finished with time of 58.11 in the 100 Yard Backstroke event (13th place) and Conley Mitchell (1:03.69) came in 25th place.  Josh also competed in the 100 Yard Butterfly where he placed 16th (56.04) while Nate Crammer finished 30th with a time of 1:01.99.  Nate also finished 25th in the 200 Yard IM event with a time of 2:13.49.

The team of Nate Crammer, Tyler Gregory, Josh Pool, and Aaron Scholl placed 11th overall in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay event with a time 1:34.35.
