The Eaton High School Girls Swimming team excelled not only in the swimming pool, but in the classroom as well this past winter as they achieved the highest average GPA out of all of Eaton High School’s Winter Sports Programs during the 2015-16 winter sports season.
With an average GPA of 3.742 for the third nine-week grading period, the Girls Swimming program showed that they were willing to put forth the same level of commitment in the classroom as they did in the swimming pool.
“I would like to congratulate and commend the members of our Girls Swimming team on this outstanding achievement! I couldn’t be more proud of our student-athletes as they truly represent what it means to be student-athletes. The dedication that they have shown by achieving excellence both in the classroom and in the swimming pool is to be commended,” shared Eaton High School Athletic Director Eric Silverman.
To celebrate this achievement, members of the Girls Swimming team were recently treated to a pizza party compliments of the Eaton High School Administration.
Additionally, the average grade-point-average for all of Eaton High School’s Winter Sports athletes was 3.451!
