Multiple Teams · Eaton Wrestling To Host OHSAA Team Dual Regional Quarterfinal Event on January 27

The Eaton High School Wrestling program recently earned the #1 seed in the OHSAA State Team Dual Division II Region 16-A bracket. As a result, the Eagles will host the Regional Quarterfinals of the OHSAA State Team Dual Tournament on Wednesday, January 27 at 6:00pm in the Eaton High School Gymnasium.

Four schools will compete on Wednesday, January 27 at Eaton High School. Eaton (#1 seed) will face Meadowdale (#8 seed) while Tippecanoe (#4 seed) will face Oakwood (#5 seed). Both matches will begin at 6:00pm. The winners will advance to face each other 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first dual.

The OHSAA State Team Dual Tournament is one of two post-season wrestling events sponsored by Ohio High School Athletic Association. The OHSAA Individual Tournament starts with Sectional Round competition beginning the week of February 15, 2016.

Round #1 Begins – 6:00pm (Meadowdale vs Eaton) and (Oakwood vs Tippecanoe)
Round #2 Begins – 20 minutes following the completion of first round

– Only OHSAA issued passes and those listed on each school’s submitted pass list will be accepted
