The Eaton High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball teams combined to achieve the highest GPA out of all of Eaton High School’s Fall Sports Programs during the 2015 fall sports season.
With an average GPA of 3.80 for the first nine-week grading period, the High School Volleyball program duplicated in the classroom the high level of success that they earned on the volleyball court, which included an OHSAA District Championship this past fall.
“In my opinion, this achievement is the most impressive of all of the outstanding accomplishments that our Volleyball program garnered this past season. I couldn’t be more proud of our students and Volleyball program as they represent what it means to be student-athletes. The dedication that they have shown by achieving excellence both in classroom and on the volleyball court is to be commended,” shared Eaton High School Athletic Director Eric Silverman.
To celebrate this achievement, the members of the High School Volleyball program were recently treated to a pizza party compliments of the Eaton High School Administration.
Additionally, the average grade-point-average for all of Eaton High School’s Fall Sports athletes was 3.58!
