Multiple Teams · Eaton Country Club Hosts Eaton Cross Country Events

With historical Fort St. Clair Park closed due to tree removal work taking place in the park, Eaton Country Club stepped up in a big way to support the students of Eaton High School & Eaton Middle School. With two large invitational events on the horizon and suddenly without a facility to run them in, the Eaton Country Club offered the grounds of their gorgeous facility for the event. Originally opened in 1921, the 9-hole course provided the perfect setting for both the Eaton Middle School Invitational and the Eaton Ed Leas Fall Classic.

“Without the support and partnership of the Eaton Country Club, it would not have been Sasha - XCpossible for us to host both our Middle School Invitational and the Ed Leas Fall Classic. When we received word that the Fort was going to be closed, Eaton Country Club jumped
right up with the attitude of “what can we do help support our schools and community?” With their help and support, we were able to ensure that our students had a high level and safe facility to compete in while hosting two outstanding events!  It’s the generosity and commitment like this that has made Eaton Country Club a valued member of our community since 1921,”
shared Eaton Athletic Director, Eric Silverman.
